Customer/Prospect Screen

Here is the heart and soul of CSA 2008--the customer screen.  Here is where you store your phone ups that haven't visited the dealership yet, unsold prospects and your sold customers.  That's me in the Vette dreaming (I've lost about 25 pounds since then...)

Above, you will see the task bar.

DELETE: deletes this customer forever!

PRINT: Print a sheet with all the data on this customer.

CHOOSE PICTURE: Change or take out the picture.

PRINT LETTER: print a letter for this customer.

PRINT ENVELOPE: print an envelope for this customer.

SCHEDULE APPT: schedule an appointment for this customer.

SCHEDULE CALL: Schedule a call for this customer.

SAVE/CLOSE: I wonder what that means???

Here is the personal information for that customer.  You can click EDIT to edit their data if they move, someone dies, etc.  That will take you to the Address Book.

Dates must be in this format: MM/DD/YYYY or click to get a callender to change the date.

Check all the parts of the sales process that you have completed with this customer.  These checks are used in your statistics and your monthly progress.  Click VISITED DEALERSHIP if the person physically came on the lot, SOLD if they bought and got delivered.  PENDING SALE might be someone you ordered a vehicle for or someone you scheduled a delivery with.  INCLUDE IN WANT LIST: someone is looking for something specific that you don't have.  Call them when you get it!  COUNT IN AVERAGES: you may enter someone you don't want to count in your averages, like an orphan owner for example.  LOST SALE: cannot get approved, bought elsewhere, died, etc.  SPLIT DEAL: you split the sale with another salesperson.

If you check SOLD--put what they bought.  It will show VEHICLE WANTED if they are unsold.  All numbers have to be in this format 11111.  11,111 will not work!

Put all their trade information (if there is any) into the system.

Enter your money made if you sold them.  Remember: Enter numbers and decimils only in this section.  123.33 works.  1,233.33 does not.

Enter the finance TYPE, source, term, etc.  If you enter in the term, the end date will automatically populate.  This is useful for leases that have a definite expiration date so you can contact your people ahead of time to set up a next purchase.

I'm telling you--I've lost weight since then!  Click the picture for a closer view (in CSA, not here!)

If you contact this person, you can click a contact type and type some notes and click SAVE CONTACT INFORMATION and you will be able to see a record of it in your FOLLOW UP HISTORY.
