Sales Assistant 2008 Overview
Here is a quick overview of the main screen of CSA 2008.

No matter what module you are on, you will always see this screen on the outside of it. It is pretty much a master page.

Across the top is your TASK BAR. Click a button to access the module.
LOG NEW CUSTOMER (used to be LOG CUSTOMER): Click this when you want to
log a phone up, prospect or sold customer. You only click this
the first time you enter the customer and edit the customer from their
record if (for example) they go from being a PHONE UP to a prospect who
VISITED DEALERSHIP.
SEARCH: Search for customers and prospects.
SOLD: Shows you a list of all of your sold customers. CSA 2008
knows they are sold if you checked the SOLD button from the customer
screen.
PROSPECTS: Shows a list of all of your unsold prospects. VISITED
DEALERSHIP has to be checked for them to show up on this list.
APPOINTMENTS: View your appointments for today or any other date.
ADDRESS: View your master
address book.
FOLLOW UP: Click to access the
Word Processor or to
set up your follow up.
PROGRESS: You can
set goals or view your progress.
PAYMENTS: a quick and easy payment calculator.
INSTRUCTIONS: view instructions for CSA 2008 or view these tutorials.
SETTINGS: Customize CSA 2008 for your own use.

The QUICK LINKS will show a number next to them if people qualify for
them. Click on the number to view a list of the customers.
If there is a ZERO, there is nothing to click.

Your MONTLY PROGRESS shows how well you are doing for the current
month. The numbers are calculated from your CUSTOMER DATABASE.
A person will only show up in the averages if you check COUNT IN
AVERAGES and VISITED DEALERSHIP. A person must be checked as SOLD
to show up as a sold customer. If SPLIT DEAL is checked, it will
show up as half a deal.

Want to search for someone quickly? Use the QUICK SEARCH.
Type in part or all of the text and then click SEARCH. This
is great if you see a car you sold but can't remember the person's
name. Type the make in for a list of all people who have bought
that particular vehicle and scroll down the list until your memory gets
jogged.
NOTES: Any part of something you typed in a customer's notes section.
