I am constantly working to fix bugs and improve CSA 2008. This involves a process of downloading the newest version and updating your computer. First, though, you must back up your data. Please read through this tutorial and make sure you understand it before attempting to update. You could lose your data if you make one small move.
In order to insure that you are using the newest version of CSA 2008, run the program and look at the build version and date on the lower left hand corner of the screen.
It should read 3.0.2 10/5/08. That is the newest version.
Step 1: Download the Update of Car Sales Assistant 2008 Here.
Save it somewhere you can find it like your desktop.
Step 2: Double Click the file to open it. Leave this window open--you can change the size of it to make it a little smaller so you can follow the next steps.
Step 3: Open your COMPUTER or MY COMPUTER
It might be on your desktop or you can find it by clicking your START button on the lower left hand of windows.
Step 4: Double Click C: Harddrive
Step 5: Double Click PROGRAM FILES
Step 6: Double Click NOVAEONA SYSTEMS (might be WWW.CARSALESASSISTANT.COM for older versions...)
Step 7: Double Click CAR SALES ASSISTANT 2008 (Almost done here...)
Step 8: You will now see all the contents of your CAR SALES ASSISTANT 2008 folder.
Move this window to the side so you can see it and the window from STEP 2. Now you need to copy the files from the update to your car sales assistant 2008 folder. Make sure you follow the next steps exactly...
Copying Step 1: Highlight all of the files in the update by left clicking your mouse button, holding it down, and drawing a box over all of the files. Then right click in the highlighted area and click COPY.
Copying Step 2: Move your mouse over to the CAR SALES ASSISTANT 2008 open window--the one that contains your program
Copying Step 3: Right click in a clear area and click PASTE.
Windows should now ask you if you want to copy and replace files. Click YES TO ALL! If this doesn't happen--you may be doing something wrong.
Congratulations! You should now be using the newest version of CSA 2008!
